Anti-plagiarism policy
The journal "Bulletin of Uman National University" accepts for publication only original scientific works that have not been previously published and comply with the principles of academic integrity.
Authors bear full responsibility for the correctness of citation and use of other people's results.
Each manuscript must have:
- be unique and free from plagiarism;
- contain correct references to the sources used;
- do not exceed 3% of matches from one source.
The editorial board checks the submitted materials using a system that determines the level of text borrowings in databases and the global Internet system.
The evaluation is carried out according to the following criteria:
- more than 80% originality – the article is accepted for consideration;
- 70-80% – returned to the author for revision;
- less than 70% – not accepted for publication.
The detection of plagiarism in any form is considered a violation of the ethics of scientific publications.
If borrowing is discovered after publication, the editorial board conducts a check, informs the authors and, if necessary, makes a decision in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.
All submitted articles in the publication are checked for plagiarism using the StrikePlagiarism.com software from the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
